  2.       To get to the MODIFICATION MENU, type M in the ASSIGNMENT.GRADE entry 
  3.       area. The MODIFICATION section makes it possible to "change your 
  4.       mind".  Easy modifications include correcting a student's name, 
  5.       changing any assignment description, category, or maximum value.  
  6.         
  7.       The MODIFICATION MENU also lists several modifications to grade 
  8.       status.  With these, you can make an assignment "not count".   The NO 
  9.       GRADE status leaves a grade recorded, but does not COUNT the grade in 
  10.       ANY averaging.  This could be used to EXCUSE a student from work or to 
  11.       "DROP" a grade from a student's average or to "NOT COUNT" a certain 
  12.       assignment. The NO GRADE status is reversible. However, OPTION 6 
  13.       and OPTION 7 do not alter grades for students with NO GRADE on ALL
  14.       grades already.  Read the menu choices carefully, and always check 
  15.       your NO GRADE changes using the reports section. A "*" will appear in 
  16.       the name of students whose grades do not count, and a "*" will appear 
  17.       near the grade of any assignment that does not count.

  19.       The Eliminate an Assignment section (option 10) will totally remove 
  20.       all grades for a particular assignment for all students.  Use this 
  21.       section CAUTIOUSLY: THERE IS NO WAY BACK.  Use it only to DESTROY and 
  22.       to KEEP NO RECORD of a certain assignment.
